Dr. Shahab Eunus, MD, FAAP
Primary Care Pediatrician, Ocala FL
Dr. Shahab Eunus is a Board Certified Pediatrician who specializes in general and behavioral Pediatrics. Dr. Eunus earned his Medical degree with Honors in St. Petersburg, Russia and completed his Pediatric residency at the prestigious Cornell University, Lincoln Medical, New York. Multilingual, Dr. Eunus speaks English, Russian and Bengali, and can obtain medical history in Spanish as well.
Dr. Eunus has a special place in his heart for children with ADHD, as he is the father of a child with ADHD. Dr. Eunus is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Marion County Medical Society.
Dr. Pablo Almuna, MD
Primary Care Pediatrician, Ocala FL
Dr. Almuna is a Board-certified Pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics with 20 years of experience in the medical field. He did his medical school at Universidad de Concepcion in Chile and worked in family medicine for many years before doing his pediatric residency at Woodhull Medical Center/New York University.
His background includes general medicine, outpatient and inpatient Pediatrics, NICU and academics, teaching medical students, pediatric residents, and physician assistants. He has a special interest in behavioral pediatrics. Dr. Almuna is bilingual in English and Spanish. His main hobby is traveling with his family.
Dr. Vladlena Eunus, DNP
Doctor of Pediatric Nursing Practice, Ocala FL
Dr. Vladlena Eunus is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She obtained her first degree from the Herzen Teaching University in 1994 and worked as an Elementary School teacher for several years. After moving to the United States, she earned her Bachelor’s of Nursing degree from the Stony Brook University (SUNY) in 2008 and worked as an RN in the Vent Unit of the Wyckoff Hospital for almost 5 years.
Dr. Vladlena earned her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Pediatric Primary Care from 2013-2016 from the University of South Alabama. Dr. Vladlena speaks 3 languages: English, Russian, and Bengali. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International.
Allyson Casey, ARNP
Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Pediatrics, Ocala FL
Allyson joined our team in 2016 from John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St Petersburg, FL. She worked for 7 years with children who suffer from lung problems, such as asthma and cystic fibrosis. Allyson has practiced as a Pediatric ARNP in both a primary care setting and a pulmonary specialty since 1993, when she graduated from the University of South Florida with a masters degree in Nursing. She received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL .
Ocala was Allyson’s home from early childhood until college. She attended Blessed Trinity primary school and graduated from the “old” Forest High School, which is now Trinity Catholic.
Chelsey Somarriba, ARNP
Chelsey Somarriba, CPNP-PC, attended Florida International University where she earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing 2014 and her Master’s degree in Pediatric Primary Care in 2019. She began her career at Jackson Memorial Hospital in their Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units. She is experienced in Pediatric Primary Care. Chelsea is a licensed Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Chelsey was born and raised in Miami, Florida and is of Filipino and German descent. She has a passion in guiding and supporting patients’ families in areas such as growth and developmental milestones, nutrition, hygiene, safety, and disease prevention.
Maegan Emanuel, PA
Physician Assistant in Pediatrics, Ocala FL
Throughout her clinical training, she has developed a keen interest in pediatric medicine, focusing on a warm and supportive environment for young patients and their families.
